Split screens in filmography allow parts of the storyline to be joint together by displaying them at the same time. Split screens can show simultaneous events happening or various angles of the same scene.

Here I used film to document a the modular process of cooking. In following a recipe each ingredient is chopped, sliced or baked to eventually mix together into a meal. This process is documented through split screen filmography, showing the simultaneous steps occurring in order to make each component of the dish.
