NATURAL JOINTS
How can everyday objects and ways we join in language replace natural joints?
Joints exist in the natural environment as branches, buds and stems. These natural joints provide points of growth, for flowers and fruit to bloom, for branches to extend.

Sometimes joinery techniques are used to guide where fauna will grow and the direction in which you wish it to follow.
These interventions use joinery techniques in stationary and language to replace the existing natural joints. They can't serve the functional purpose of natural joints but they propose ways in which other joinery techniques can be used to expand.
